As for midweek activities having a higher attendance from female members rather than male members may be down more to the activities that are on offer and other family commitments. If both parents are out at a church meeting/activity then who will look after the kids? I suppose mid-week activities for all the family would help alleviate that.

This one seems a bit confusing as I would be interested in how the writer of these stats could know that the men attending were unaffected by what they heard and you don’t know what other private Bible study that these men are doing in their own time.

Don’t like the use of the word “rival” but other faiths, and in particular Islam, seem to be more male oriented. The fact that women seem to be subordinate to men or treated as unclean during certain cycles seems to me to be the rantings of a man rather than god. This will only attract men to this way of thinking and make them feel more domin ant as it is ordained by god. Maybe this could be clarified by someone more knowledgeable on such matters, but can woman and men worship together in a mosque.
I’d be interested in this gentleman’s findings regarding Judaism and it’s attendance numbers by gender as it is my understanding that the Jewish faith places the mother as of supreme importance, something I agree with, and that it’s the woman that passes the faith not the husband.
